The flower of salt (also known as Fleur de Sel) is the pride of Solana Nin. In the ecological salt pans, this "white gold" is formed as a delicate layer on the seawater only under perfect weather conditions. It is carefully harvested by hand, sun-dried, and thus remains rich in valuable minerals.
In this variant, the delicate, crispy texture of the crystals combines with the spicy heat of red chili peppers. The result is an exciting finishing salt that adds character to your dishes. It pairs wonderfully with grilled meat, Mexican food, egg dishes, or – as an interesting contrast – even dark chocolate.
Add the flower of salt just before serving to experience its full flavor and fine "crunch."
