Kozlović Teran – 0.75l bottle

Medium-deep purple, slightly less intense than a typical Teran. This is partly due to the freshness of the 2023 vintage, but also to the lower extraction at the winery.

Very open, youthful on the nose, with plenty of red and black fruits like blueberries, raspberries, black cherries, and wild berries, with a lovely spicy note like black pepper. Dark and ripe, yet fresh. Very similar to the 2022 vintage, when the newer Teran style began to make its way into our winery. Further aromas will develop over time.

On the palate, it is somewhat lighter and drier, with quite spicy herbal notes. The high acidity, typical of Teran and the 2023 vintage, lends it freshness and vibrancy. The tannins are minimal but noticeable due to the low extraction. A refreshing, modern Istrian Teran, characterized by drinkability, fruitiness, and vibrancy. Recommendation: Wine for open consumption.
